Pro Catcher VR Trainer™ · 360motionlabs.com

Privacy policy

The short version: the app keeps your settings and scores on your headset and sends nothing to us. This page explains exactly what is used, where it is kept, and how to delete it.

  • Effective 6 October 2026
  • Covers the Meta Quest app and this website

In short

  • Pro Catcher VR Trainer does not collect personal information. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not send any data to us or to anyone else.
  • Your settings, hand calibration and last session's score stay on your headset. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
  • Meta checks that you bought the app. That check is run by Meta; we do not receive or keep your Meta account details.
  • On this website, the only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email.

This policy is published by 360 Motion Labs (“we”, “us”), the maker of Pro Catcher VR Trainer™, a baseball and softball catcher training app for Meta Quest, and the operator of this website, 360motionlabs.com. It applies to the app and to this website. It does not apply to 360dronebooth.com, which has its own policy.

1The app: what it uses and what it keeps

Used while you play, never saved or sent

To put you behind the plate, the app reads the position and orientation of your headset and your two controllers (or of your hands, if your headset is tracking them instead), and the state of the controller buttons and triggers. It uses them, many times a second, to place the mitt, catch the ball, grade your technique and draw your instant replays.

This motion data is held only in the app's working memory while it runs. The instant replays of your last five pitches are kept in memory too, and are discarded when you close the app. None of it is written to storage or sent anywhere.

Saved on your headset

So you do not have to set things up every time, the app saves three small items in its own private storage on your headset:

  • Your menu settings: sport, difficulty, pitch speed and pitch types, pitch location options, batter and pitcher options, which hand you catch with, mitt size and colour, the squeeze, replay, strike zone and guide options, and the audio and stadium choices.
  • Your hand calibration: how the mitt and your bare hand are angled relative to your controllers, and any mitt roll adjustment you made.
  • A summary of your most recent session: pitches, strikes, framed strikes, blocks, passed balls, misses, runner advances, total points and your best pitch score.

None of this identifies you. It never leaves your headset, and we cannot see it.

What the app does not do

  • It does not use the microphone, and it does not use the headset's cameras, passthrough view or room scan.
  • It does not ask for your name, email, age, location or any other personal details, and it has no user accounts.
  • It contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software, and it makes no network requests to us or to any third party.
  • It has no in-app purchases, social features or chat.

Like most apps, it may write routine technical messages (for example, whether the controllers are being tracked) to the headset's own system log. That log stays on your headset and is not collected by us.

2The purchase check

Pro Catcher VR Trainer is a paid app sold through the Meta Horizon Store. When it starts, it uses Meta's platform software to confirm that the Meta account signed in on the headset owns the app (an “entitlement check”). The check is carried out by Meta.

During the check the app may receive your Meta user ID from Meta's platform software. It is used only for that check: the app does not store it, and does not send it to us or to anyone else. We never receive your Meta account name, email address or payment details. Purchases, payments and refunds are handled entirely by Meta.

3Data Meta collects

Your Meta Quest headset, your Meta account and the Meta Horizon Store are run by Meta Platforms, Inc., which collects its own information (for example about purchases, device use and app usage) under its own terms. That collection is not controlled by us and is not covered by this policy. See the Supplemental Meta Platforms Technologies Privacy Policy and Meta's main privacy policy.

If you have turned on Meta's cloud backup for your headset, Meta's system may keep a backup copy of the app's saved settings in your Meta account. That backup is managed by Meta and can be removed through your headset or Meta account settings.

4This website

  • No cookies, analytics or advertising. Our pages do not set cookies or load analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Our fonts are hosted on this site, so loading a page does not contact a font service.
  • Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Contact form. If you send us a message, the form collects your name, email address and message. It is delivered to our inbox by the form service Web3Forms. We use it only to reply to you.
  • Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
  • Links. Links to other sites, such as the Meta Horizon Store or 360dronebooth.com, are covered by those sites' own policies.

5How we use and share information

The only personal information we hold is what you send us by email or through the contact form. We use it to answer you and to provide support. We keep it for as long as we need it to deal with your message, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that deliver our website and email (such as Cloudflare, Web3Forms and our email provider), or when the law requires it.

6Deleting your data

Data in the app

Everything the app saves is stored on your headset, and we hold no copy. To delete all of it, uninstall Pro Catcher VR Trainer from your headset (in your app Library, open the app's menu and choose Uninstall). Uninstalling permanently removes your settings, hand calibration and session summary. If you reinstall, the app starts fresh.

To clear only the hand calibration, choose RESET HANDS in the app's menu.

Messages you sent us

Send us a message through the contact form on our home page. Start it with “Data deletion request” and enter the email address you used to contact us. We will delete your messages and contact details and confirm by email within 30 days. You can use the same form for any other privacy question.

Your Meta account

Data held by Meta, including your purchase history and any cloud backup, is managed through your Meta account settings under Meta's privacy policy.

7Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Use of Meta Quest headsets and Meta accounts by younger players is governed by Meta's age requirements and parental supervision tools.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website or by email. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Because the app keeps its data on your headset, these requests will normally concern only messages you have sent us. Contact us through our contact form (see below) and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9Changes to this policy

If the app or this website changes how it handles data, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. If an app update would start collecting or sending any data, this page will say so first.
